Fly Butterfly

Hi! Hope you are having a nice weekend.
I wanted to share another Sweet Pea Stamps creation.
This time I used Fly Butterfly by Ching Chou Kuik.
I really LOVE Sweet Pea Stamps and have always loved Fantasy Art.
Coloring these lovely images makes me smile
as I watch the images come alive.

I used a  few new color combos I learned from the very talented Randi.
I was able to take a class from her a while back at
Paper Tales, a super cool
store in San Diego, CA. I also took another class
there last week, hopefully I will have my creation finished
later this week to show you.

Be sure to come back in the next couple of days as
I will have something from Craft's and me
and a Surprise from The Burtonesque Dolls on Tuesday March 29th.

This card is being entered into the following Challenges:

Mars Attacks!

Time for another fun Challenge at The Burtonesque Dolls .
This time we are challenging you create something inspired by
Burton's quirky scifi  movie Mars Attacks.
Be sure to include the color green, cause we all
know martians are green. Well in my case greenish.

Here is my take.

This was really fun to make,
I thought about adding a woman headed dog but
couldn't find what I was looking for in my stamps.
If you have never seen this movie you should, it's funny.
My martian was made using a Tiddly Inks image Rocket boy.
I drew in the brain and colored him a fleshy green.
The spaceships are from a clear stamp kit from Michaels.
Enjoy!

Warmer Weather Sweet Pea

Well actually it was pretty warm today in
sunny Southern California it was a nice 75 degrees today.
Today I have a Sweet Pea Stamps card for you using
Ching Chou Kuik's It's my Birthday.
She is for In a Sweet Pea Dream warmer weather challenge.

I had fun making this card and even tried a little bit of
the dot background technique.
It was a lot of fun to do.

I used lots of Diamond Stickles, Gems and flowers
for a mermaid garden effect.
Thanks for all your lovely comments they really make my day!
Enjoy!

Boys will be boys

Hi! Hope you are having a good week, mine has flown by again.
I have a boy card to show you today using
Christian from Simply Betty Stamps.

So obviously this card was made for the
The challenge was to use any Christian Stamp.
I used the original Christian from the My Kids Emo World line.
I just love that he is a skater and his little dragon is too cute!
(He is covered in Rock Candy Distress Stickles
but you can't tell in the picture)

The background paper is from my stash
and was purchased months ago
with the idea of being used for a boys card.
I followed the sketch for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge,
Karen has the most Awesome sketches!
Enjoy!
