Puppy Love!

Hello!
The minute I saw Tori by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
I thought of my very good friend Sylvia.
This little pooch looks just like her Bella.
So I had to make her a Valentine's with this stamp.

And of course I had to play along with this week's
challenge Pins and Pearls.
Have a Great weekend!

Have a Magical Day!

Happy Weekend everyone!
I have been coloring up a storm all week and
finally finished up a card today.

I have been really excited to use Voodoo Lady from
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. It's such a fun image.
Speaking of Kimmie, it's her Birthday!
Happy Birthday Kimmie!
the challenge this week is to make a
Birthday Card.

Sooo here's Voodoo Lady...

I colored her with Copics and used
 the sketch at Sketch Saturday.
I think she would make an awesome Valentine.
Oh and Kimmie as having a sale for her birthday
so you can pick up this stamp for 41% off Here.

Thanks for all the lovely comments,
they make my day.

It's always Teatime!

I totally agree with that statement, and it's also
time for another Kraftin Kimmie Alice image.
This time I have the Mad Hatter of course!

There also happens to be a Sketch challenge

I love sketch challenges, they make it so much easier.

The Hatter was colored with my Copics and
the back ground papers were from my Halloween stash.
I finally finished coloring all the KKS Alice images,
so be expecting to see the rest soon.
Thanks for all the lovely comments!

Love makes the World go round!

Hello! I have been coloring up my New Kraftin' Kimmie Alice Stamps
for weeks now and I finally finished up a card today.
Just in time for the New Challenge
TIME TO SHAPE UP

I really have been practicing my coloring
techniques with my Copics. As there are NO stamp stores near
me to take classes from I have learned a lot from
the internet. And mostly from my three favorite stampers

Coloring red has been difficult for me and
I usually just try to stick to coloring only small areas of it
or not doing any blending at all. But Cheryl created
this AWESOME tutorial for the Color Me Copic Club
and I finally get it! You can see it Here.

So here is my Queen of Hearts!

And a little closer look

Blast from the Past with Kraftin' Kimmie

Hello Blogland!
Today I am playing along with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
Blast from the Past Challenge.
The Challenge is to use your very first Kraftin' Kimmie stamp.
My very first KK stamp was of course a Halloween stamp.
About a year ago I found KK stamps and was immediately drawn to
Artist Annie Rodrigue's fun Moonlight Whispers collection.
My very first purchase was the whole Halloween collection
and Zelda the Zombie is one of my favorites within
the collection. So here she is....

I colored Zelda with Prismacolor pencils on Kraft paper
using a technique I found on Angela's Blog but I think
I need some more practice. It was fun and I wanted to
try something new. Thanks for looking!

He is the Pumpkin King!!!

Oh I am sooo excited can you feel it in the air,
just less than two months to Halloween!
I even got some of my decorations out,
I will try to post some pictures later in the week.

This week at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenges
the challenge is to use Office Supplies in your creation.
When I saw this New Stamp by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps
I immediately imagined my very favorite Halloween character
JACK The Pumpkin King!

He was a blast to color. Orange has always been a challenge for me,
but I think he turned great. The background Halloween
paper is from K&CO. KP Halloween.
Computer generated Sentiment.
Used staples and my office scissors to distress.

Get Well Soon!

It's time for another Burtonesque Dolls Challenge! This week we are keeping it very simple and asking you to make a Get Well Card, anything goes as long as it's got that Burtonesque Twist.

I used Perfect Poison by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps,
she is one of my favorite stamps.
I tried for a gothic vintage look, kinda like Sleepy Hollow.

Do that Voodoo that you do...

I couldn't help myself, I just had to use this line with Drucilla from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I have always loved this song and it was just bouncing around in my head as I made this card today.

I am entering this card in Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Funky Fibers Challenge and Cute Card Thursday Sketch Challenge 139. Although my idea of cute is kinda creepy. ;)

How Distressing!

This weeks challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog was to use distressing. I decided on a distressed Snow White card. I just love this stamp, and I thought the sentiment "Don't Tempt Me" was just perfect. So Cheeky!

That Girl is Poison!

I just fell in love with this stamp the first time I saw it! Her name is Perfect Poison by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I knew I had to make something over the top with her. This weeks Challenge from KKS is a Color Challenge using Orange, Green and Purple. This combo lent itself well to Perfect Poison.

I decided to try my hand at making a three dimensional card, this was my first attempt at a shadow box card. I found a tutorial online, it was pretty easy but I could use some practice at being more precise. I am not a perfectionist, my cards always come out a little crooked. I found that when I try to be perfect it holds me back so now I just go for it, if it works great if not then try again!

Anyway, I had fun putting it together. I love that MS Drippy Goo punch and The New MS Splat Punch. Lots of Diamond Stickles, flowers, mini skull and fun paper.

Mostly Black and White

I'm Lovin' my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, they are so much fun to color and the designs from Annie Rodrigue are just soooo cute!
This weeks challenge on the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge Blog is Mostly Black and White. Who better to inspire Black and White then Dracula himself. I used Fred and Ginger from KK, background paper from Creative Imaginations Marah Johnson Collection (they have fun Vampire papers), Spellbinders Nesties, red glitter glue and MS Drippy Goo punch. I also added Glossy accents to Fred's Hair to make it shiny but you can't tell from the photo. Thanks for looking!

Be a Girlie Girl!

I am Lovin my Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! I decided to play along on The Krafin' Kimmie Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge is To Be a Girlie Girl. I just love Miss Vivienne, she looks like a real Girlie Girl to me. I bet she is awlays dressed to the nines.

It was fun using my new spellbinders nesties, adding flowers, gems and glitter glue.

It's Witchy Poo!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps have been on my wish list for awhile now and I finally got my first stamps over the weekend. Witchy Poo is my first card and she was a lot of fun to work with.

I worked with a larger card format 5 1/2 inches and more paper layering than I usually do. I like the look and will probably use that size more often. This card was not made for any challenges, just for the joy of stamping! Hope you enjoyed it!
