The Captain Has Arrived!

Whoot whoot!!!! Finally it's here!
Captain Jack himself has made an appearance here
in Burton world and at the Simply Betty Stamps store!  

I had a blast making this card, and again wanted to keep the card
simple to showcase Jack.
It was a real pleasure to help preview the
line of Funky Pirates for Simply Betty Stamps.

Pirate Preview Day 5!

 It's Forbidden Treasure!

Forbidden or not, Maxine is sure enjoying the heck out of it isn't she?
Just look at her wild hair... is she not the cah-Yutest!?

Maxine was another awesome image to color.
I just had to make her a cartoon red head.
I left the card pretty plain to showcase Maxine,
but I couldn't resist adding the famous
"Diamonds are a girls best friend line".

Well I know Betty will be happily in her seat for the
midnight showing of Pirates 4 tonight, but
I will be happily in bed! I will be seeing the movie tomorrow at 1pm
at the El Capitan in Hollywood, the BEST
place to see a Disney Movie.

Pirates Sneak Peak Day Four!

Meet Ginger
She is even more Sassy than Lizzy don't ya think?
Look at her, just standing there with that "I dare you" look on her face...
think she's protecting her Booty? Ha!

I am just loving these fun Pirates images.
Ginger was a blast to color and I just love her long lashes!

I love pirates, of course not the real ones, 

I think we often forget that not all Pirates are like Jack Sparrow right?  

Most of the time I am sure they were a bunch of hell-ians!  

Not like cute Lizzy here!  

I think she will make an awesome invite to a girls Pirate PARRRTY!

Now I know that Tim Burton had nothing to do with Pirates,
but his wing man Johnny is in the upcoming Pirates 4 movie so Betty
from Simply Betty Stamps figured that was Burton-esque
enough to have a Pirate Stamping Release here!

Bonnie was sooo much fun to color, I just love her outfit!

I had a lot of fun making the treasure map and distressing it up.

And I couldn't resist the flowers and skulls.
